FALL LEAGUE NEWS

As most of you know, the 2020 RRPL Spring season continued after the Covid-19 break. By playing out the season, many lessons were learnt and a clear picture of how the league would run during these strange times has been developed.

In order to keep our players safe, participants will be required to wear masks while playing their matches; sanitize hands before and after matches and refrain from shaking hands. A kit will be provided before your matches that will include hand sanitizer, disposable masks, paper towels and disinfectant. Observers are asked to keep two meters apart by utilizing all areas including the lounge, as well as the front and rear patio. As always, please be respectful of the Metro's neighbours and keep the noise levels down. :)

The details for the upcoming season are as follows:

• Total team cap of 2100 FargoRating.

• The season starts the week of September 14-17.

• The newly instituted BCAPL calendar year starts January 1 and ends on December 31. Players who have paid a $20 sanctioning fee from January 1, 2020, do not have to pay until January 1, 2021.

• Fees for the league are as follows:

  • $20 registration fee per player

  • $15 weekly fee per player ($60 per team)

  • $20 playoff entry fee per player

  • $10 green fee per team per match ($2.50 per player)

*The shortening of the season is due to the newly adopted playoff format designed to adhere to capacity limitations.
